PDX Mini-Z Club Rules

Rule #1: Have Fun and Become a better racer.

To make this a fun / family friendly environment, we ask that you refrain from the following inside, or we may ask you to leave:

• Constant Profanity or Aggressive behavior towards others.

• Alcohol, drugs, tobacco or pornography.

• Spraying chemicals in the building.

• Smoking or vaping in the building or near the entrance.

• Yelling at other racers, marshals, or attendees. Remember, most incidents are not intentional, refer to Rule #1.

Making it more fun for all:

• Be kind and courteous to your fellow racers.  If you screw up, let them know you are sorry.

• If you crash into someone, stop until their car is has recovered and resumes racing.

• After your race, remove your car from the track promptly, and return to the track to corner marshal.

Please Note:

• All children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.  If you bring young children, please attend to them so they do not interrupt the fun of other racers.

• While we are fairly loose on your choice of cars, there are regulations for different car classes.  Make sure your cars fit the specifications set by the club.

• Charge voltage for lipo batteries will not exceed 8.4 volts, 2C limit!

• Always put your table and chair away, and make sure to leave your area clean, putting any garbage away needed.

This is a volunteer club.

Everyone can serve to help the club and each other.  Please try and help either set up or tear down the track, marshal when others can’t, and help drivers with cars that need attention, rebuilding, soldering, or jump on up to the control stand and become the next best Race Director.

If we all work together, the effort required is minimal. When possible, jump in and help with the functioning of the club. We simply ask you to put time in to make the race day the best for all.

And above all, remember Rule #1.
